Basuki: Lasro Marbun Will Be Transferred

The request of Head of Jakarta Education Department, Lasro Marbun, to be transferred from his current position will be granted. However, the official to fill in his position is still a secret. For Marbun himself, he is said to be pulled back to the City Hall.

He will be placed in a better position that could help me here (City Hall), because he knows all kinds of regulation

“He will be transferred. But, it is still a secret. He will be placed in a better position that could help me here (City Hall), because he knows all kinds of regulation. If he’s in a department, the office is different,” stated Vice Jakarta Governor Basuki T Purnama, Thursday (8/7).

Despite Marbun is resigning, he is getting compliments from Basuki who assesses him as a good education department head and understands all of the problems exist. Basuki also praises Marbun’s acts by changing the management system and cutting budgets which he thought were wasteful.

Stressful, Lasro Marbun Wants to Resign from Education Dept

“He is good, brave. He understands everything. He is my walking dictionary,” said Basuki.

Seeing Marbun’s good performance, Basuki feels that he was right when promoting Marbun as Head of Jakarta Education Department.

“We promoted him to handle incompetent people, to make things right,” asserted Basuki.
